A Journey Across the Country....

So I left for Ohio on Friday afternoon to help McKay pack up and give him company on his long drive home. We went to dinner on Friday when I landed that called in a night. Saturday he had some work to finish up, we packed up the apartment, and went and saw the Proposal (Good movie!!) Then Sunday we loaded the cars and started across the country. We drove and drove and drove some more then got hotel rooms and slept then got up Monday and drove and drove until we got to Lincoln Nebraska where there was a wild life safari and thought it sounded fun so we thought why not go check it out? Pretty much what this was was a zoo that you drove through. It was actually pretty fun....

We started out at an overlook where we saw lots of elk and then we got back in the car to start the safari....we saw elk, whit-tialed deer, then onto a wetland, then we parked a there was a small hike where we saw owls, a brown bear, then up to a little lake that had turtles and frogs in it, then saw wolves, got back in the car and saw all sorts of birds and finished off our safari with bison and pronghorns. Call us nerds but it was fun....here are some pictures...I suck at trying to figure out there order sorry!














There are just a few of the many we took...then we hit the road again and got home Tuesday night. It was lots of driving but fun. I'll keep you updated with all my other adventures of my crazy college life ;) stay tuned.....Love you all!
